Persisting Pain

What would your life look like without pain?

Feeling comfortable.

Doing the things that you love to do.

Enjoying every day.

You know you have a physical problem and it may have caused you pain for a long time. You probably have a diagnosis by now to confirm it. It may be something such as arthritis, sciatica, ongoing pain from an injury or surgery, or even a more complex chronic pain condition like fibromyalgia, ME or chronic fatigue syndrome.

Whichever it is, if you are reading this, then it is no doubt painful and it can easily dominate your life. When a pain is chronic, it is common to hear that medical professionals have investigated it and fully treated it as best as they can and arrived at a point where they explain that nothing further can be done.

Pain Reprocessing Therapy

Chronic pain can affect the brain as much as it affects the body. Chronic pain can actually change the structure of the brain by strengthening neural pathways. This teaches the brain the familiar sensation of pain, which leads sufferers to experience “centralized” or “primary” pain. This type of pain isn’t caused by a problem within our bodies, but instead, the changes in the neural pathways of the brain.

Chronic pain, whether back, neck, knee, recurring headaches, or even fibromyalgia, can be psychophysiologic and have no structural basis. If, upon examination, there is no physical damage or reason to account for the pain, then neuroplastic pain will be the diagnosis. This doesn’t mean the pain is all in your head or that you’re imagining it. The pain itself is very real but can be reversed with pain reprocessing therapy.

This is where neuroplastic treatment like pain reprocessing therapy can be beneficial. Developed by Alan Gordon from the Pain Reprocessing Therapy Center in Los Angeles, California, the purpose of pain reprocessing therapy (PRT) is to break the chronic pain cycle by retraining the brain to react to body signals properly. I am a qualified Pain Reprocessing Therapist, and I am looking forward to helping you break that chronic pain cycle and start to feel more and more comfortable in your body.

Letting go of long term pain

There is something you can do to make it happen. OldPain2Go® can help you let go of the pain, set yourself free and take back control of your life.

This approach addresses the protective pain program in your body that is continuing to run without your awareness. Your unconscious mind has the potential to reset it like pressing the reset button on a fire alarm. This can mean a reduction or even a complete removal or your pain in one session.

As I am not a medical practitioner, it is vital that you have attended a physician and been diagnosed. Pain is a normal protection mechanism and removing or reducing without understanding the underlying reason for it it can expose you to further trauma. No hypnosis or trance is required, just a logical explanation for the basis for the pain and how it no longer serves you a purpose.

You do not need to believe in the technique, but you have to want to let go of your pain. â€‹When you feel ready then call me for an OldPain2Go® session. You’ll be so glad you took that next step.

Testimonials

I went to see Geordie for a chronic pain condition which I have had for over two years. After only my first visit I was given the knowledge and the techniques to use to alleviate my pain sensations.

I use these calming strategies now whenever the pain presents and the result is amazing. The way Geordie uses his words empowers the listener to take control of their thoughts in a positive and healing way. I am so grateful for the help he has given me and so glad I went to see him

Water drops near a stack of stones

I visited Geordie after suffering with chronic pelvic pain for over two years. I'd had this pain issue for my entire adult life (I am now 45 years of age) but it dramatically impacted my quality of life in the past two years. I had been working with a team of specialists over this time including a Gynecologist, multiple Physiotherapists, Pain Psychologist, Exercise Physiologist and a Pain Management Specialist. Following over 18 months of physical therapy, specialised exercise programs, daily medication and a hospital procedure to relax muscles and numb nerves, I was still unable to completely eliminate my pain.

Having previously experienced unsuccessful attempts at "hypnotherapy" with other practitioners I was naturally skeptical that Geordie would be able to help, but had nothing to lose. I was surprised and elated when I had an 80% reduction in my pain in the first session. After the second session, there was simply no more pain there. It was just gone. Even after long, hilly trail walks (previously not possible for me), and testing all the gym exercises that would usually cause crippling pain flares, I am now enjoying total  freedom from the pain and have my life back.

Geordie is a highly skilled and experienced practitioner who holds a safe and caring space for his clients. I would highly recommend anyone experiencing persistent or chronic pain to try Hypnologic Solutions.
